A new WhatsApp update is going to stop the service on Millions of mobile phone from this January 2021. Older iPhones and Android devices will no longer support the new version of the application.

This latest WhatsApp update is pushing smart phone owners to upgrade to latest operating system or purchase a new smart phone.

If You are a iPhone User 

Check your iOS version, if iOS 9 or newer then only your iPhone supports new WhatsApp. 

This means, All iPhones up to iPhone 4 model will be unable to support as these all are having below iOS 9 version.

The iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S were all released before the iOS 9 version. But still, the specified iPhone users can upgrade the iOS version to use new WhatsApp.

If You are a Android User

Android version 4.0.3 or newer will only support WhatsApp
